Keelee MacPhee MD, principal of Renaissance Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Raleigh, accepted an invitation to attend “Mentor Master Series: A Summit for Women in Plastic Surgery” in Dallas Texas, sponsored by Mentor, one of only two FDA approved manufacturers of silicone implants.  At the summit, Dr. MacPhee toured the manufacturing facility, participated in hands-on labs, experimented with the new materials and new technology, as well as took part in seminars on the latest trends in breast implant surgery.  Silicone implants were approved by the FDA in November 2006.
