Whether you call it tomato, carmine, scarlet, rose or burgundy, Santa Claus isn't the only one wearing red this month.

Women all over the Triangle are joining Club Crimson in December. Some sport the festive color in a nod toward tradition. Others throw on the high-voltage shade to paint the town red.

Designers were seeing red at New York Fashion Week, too. Some of their hot looks for winter are shown below.
