Join us at the Durham Arts Council's annual event, which features more than 140 artists from across the country as well as six stages presenting everything from tap ensembles to classic rock concerts. Festival favorite foods return this year along with the always-popular Creative Kids Zone.

No one rides alone in the fight with cancer, asserts the nonprofit Grab My Wheel. Le Tour de Femme, its women-only bicycle ride, raises community awareness and funding for local cancer programs. The event invites all female cyclists, at all skill levels, to participate in a ride of 15, 31.3 or 62.4 miles. Hoopla follows the ride.

Enjoy a day full of fun, food and prizes hosted by the Foundation of Hope for Research and Treatment of Mental Illness. Participants choose among 10k-, 5k- and 1-mile routes. Join in a post-walk celebration with live music, kids" activities and great food.
